When will dahlia tubers be available?

We will have a pre-sale for dahlia tubers for the 2024 growing season once we know our inventory. Please join our mailing list to get advanced notice of future tuber sales and news from around the farm.

If an item is marked 'sold out' what does that mean and when will it be available again?

Items marked ‘sold out’ are usually sold out for the season, unless otherwise specified. I may release more inventory when tubers begin to wake up and show eyes in the spring. Join my mailing list to stay up to date.

Other

Can I tour your farm?

We have a Market Stand at the base of our driveway where you can purchase in-season bouquets. Our open flag will be displayed if we have flowers available for purchase. Because this is our family home we ask that you refrain from wandering the property on your own.

What is the Growing Happiness Project?

It is scientifically proven that flowers make people happy. This is our way of spreading that happiness in our community based on nominations from you. For more information or to nominate someone go here.

When will my dahlias bloom?

In general, larger flowers take a longer time to get blooming.

  • 8-12″ flowers will take approximately 120 days from planting to bloom.
  • Border dahlias and dwarf dahlias will take approximately 75 from planting to bloom.
  • All others will bloom about 90 days after planting.

Once your dahlias begin blooming they will push out blooms until the first frost. Keep in mind this time frame will vary depending on your weather, water schedule, and fertilizers given.
