Flower Subscription

Feel the joy of having a freshly cut hand-tied dahlia bouquet (plus a few extra surprises) every week for 6 weeks this summer or gift that feeling of happiness to someone you love.

Each bouquet will feature a variety of colours, textures, and sizes of dahlias with a few surprises depending on what is at peak bloom in the fields that week. Pick up is on Friday so you can enjoy your bouquet all weekend. Care instructions will be included with each bouquet and bouquets should last 4-6 days with proper care.

Pick up at our flower stand each week starting the week starting mid-August thru the end of September. If you are out of town or unavailable to pick up your bouquet you can send a friend to pick it up for you.

Bouquet Care Instructions

Following these instructions will help you get the most out of your flowers. Dahlias should last 4-6 days in the vase depending on the variety.

 

  1. When you get your flowers home get them into fresh clean water and set in a cool room for an hour or two to rest.
  2. Re-trim stems on a 45-degree angle and set in a clean vase. Add water with a small amount of bleach to help prevent bacteria from growing in the vase and extend the life of your flowers (1/4 teaspoon bleach per liter of vase water).
  3. Replace the water every couple of days, retrimming stems each time.
  4. Keep your flowers as cool as possible. (It helps to move them to a cool room in the evening and bring them back to your display room during the day.)
  5. Enjoy your flowers!
